YORK, Pa. -- Salisbury sophomore Claudia Lohn was named the CAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for March 31, 2015.

Salisbury sophomore Claudia Lohn was honored as the CAC Player of the Week after going a perfect 8-0 in four CAC wins for Salisbury in the past week. Lohn won four times at No. 2 doubles with partner Charlotte Walker, allowing just five games to their opponents with wins of 8-2, 8-0, 8-1, and 8-2. She was also perfect in four singles matches, winning once at No. 3 (6-0, 6-0), twice at No. 2 allowing just six total games to her opponents in the two matches, and a win at No. 1 to close out the week. ... In the No. 1 win, she claimed the first set, 6-0, before her opponent from Penn St. Harrisburg was forced to retire.

Three CAC teams are in the top-10 of the Atlantic South Regional Rankings, Mary Washington (No. 6), Christopher Newport (No. 7) and Salisbury (No. 8) ... Five CAC players are ranked in the Atlantic South Singles Rankings - UMW's Shelby Harris (No. 11), Salisbury's Natalie Savage (No. 13), CNU's McKinney Harwood (No. 14), UMW's Alex Ritter (No. 16) and UMW's Caroline Mosberg (No. 24) ... In doubles, UMW's Harris and Kait Brogan (No. 8), Salisbury's Savage & Katie Youlios (No. 9), and CNU's Harwood and Katie Carlson (No. 11) in ranked regionally ... St. Mary's (4-0), Salisbury (4-0), Christopher Newport (3-0) and Mary Washington (2-0) are all unbeaten in CAC play so far this spring ... CNU's Logan Eldridge won a pair of CAC matches at No. 3 singles and doubles this week, winning both singles matches 6-0, 6-0 and dropping just two games throughout doubles play ...  Freshman Kait Brogan led No. 20 Mary Washington with two points in a 5-4 loss to No. 14 DePauw on Saturday. Brogan and junior Shelby Harris picked up a win at one doubles, 8-4, and then won at five singles, 6-0, 6-2. She improved to 8-3 in singles and 10-2 in doubles play this spring.
