Mary Washington freshman Elizabeth Dofflemyer was named the CAC Player of the Week after leading Mary Washington to a 67-50 win at Virginia Wesleyan on Tuesday with game-highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds for her first career double-double. Dofflemyer shot 7-of-13 from the field, including two three-pointers, and connected on all five of her free throw attempts. She also tallied three assists and two steals in the win.

Mary Washington received 32 votes in the D3hoops.com poll and three in the most recent WBCA poll ... Christopher Newport (5-0), Mary Washington (4-0) and York (4-0) remain unbeaten this season ... Christopher Newport's Sam Porter filled the stat sheet with 15 points, eight rebounds and two steals while shooting 55.6% (5-for-9) in CNU's only action, a 92-38 CAC win against Frostburg State. Anitra Thomas continues her hot shooting to start the year, knocking down 74% of her attempts, including 73% from long-range. Nine Captains are averaging double-figure minutes. The CNU defense has forced 148 turnovers in five games, for an average of 29.6 per game ... Frostburg State junior Kirsten Rayner averaged 12.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in two games last week for the Bobcats ... Marymount sophomore Nicole Viscuso had a career day in a close 58-54 defeat to Stevenson, posting career-highs of 20 points and 13 rebounds for her second career double-double ... Salisbury senior Julia McLaughlin nearly tallied a triple-double in a loss to Stevenson on Tuesday, totaling 18 points, nine rebounds and eight steals ... Southern Virginia senior Larissa Macfarlane registered 19 points, nine rebounds and five steals in the Knights' 101-62 victory over Mary Baldwin ... Wesley junior Brionna Johnson was the Wolverines' top performer in both game's last week, averaging 12.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, and registered her third double-double of the season. Johnson is averaging a double-double this season, scoring 13.0 points per game and pulling down 11.8 rebounds per game.
