Mary Washington Sophomore Elizabeth Crowe Picked As CAC Softball Player Of The Week
Mary Washington sophomore 3B/P ELIZABETH CROWE (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after hitting .750 (6-for-8) with a double, three homers, six walks and 10 RBI as the Eagles won four games last week. Crowe also pitched the Eagles to a pair of victories, allowing one run on two walks and 10 strikeouts in 10 innings.

Salisbury's Lauren Brenneman Named NFCA Division III National Player Of The Week
It was no secret that Salisbury University catcher Lauren Brenneman (York, Pa.) had a huge seven games last week. But the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) determined that it was the best week of any player in Division III softball, honoring the senior as the National Player of the Week.

Salisbury senior catcher LAUREN BRENNEMAN (York, Pa./Central York) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after hitting .542 (13-for-24) with three doubles, five homers, two walks, 13 runs scored and 15 RBI. She had a .577 on-base percentage and a 1.292 slugging percentage in eight games. Defensively, Brenneman averaged nearly six putouts and an assist per game in leading the 22nd-ranked Sea Gulls to a 7-1 record last week.
