Frostburg State's Landrum Named ECAC South Softball Coach of the Year; Six from CAC Honored

Complete ECAC South Softball All-Star Team 

Frostburg State head coach Wes Landrum was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Coach of the Year to headline a group of six Capital Athletic Conference softball players honored to the all-star squad. 

Landrum, the CAC Coach of the Year, was named the ECAC South Coach of the Year after guiding the Bobcats to a 24-15 record and a second-place regular season finish in the conference in 2017. The 12th-year head coach has guided the Bobcats to the CAC Tournament every year the team has been in the league, and boasts 299 career wins. 

Four of the six CAC honorees were named to the first team - Salisbury juniors LeAnne Collins and Annie Pietanza, Frostburg State junior Sam Gatton, and Wesley senior Nina Marcano

The Frostburg State duo of senior Hannah Tavik and junior Allison Short were honorable mention selections.
