Jeff Gibson Mary Washington Men's Cross Country Junior Gibson led Mary Washington at the Rowan Border Battle on Saturday, finishing in fifth place overall with a time of 25:11. He averaged a 5:04 mile pace throughout the 8k race. Gibson was the top UMW runner in the field of 394 runners from 42 schools. The Eagles finished in 20th place in the team standings.  Read More

Robert Romano Frostburg State Men's Cross Country Senior Romano led the Bobcats with a seventh-place finish out of a field over 250 runners at the DeSales Invitational. He completed the course in 26:15.2, marking his fifth-consecutive top-10 effort in as many meets in the 2018 campaign. Read More

Conner Masteran Salisbury Men's Cross Country Senior Masteran placed second at the Don Cathcart Invitational on Saturday with a time of 25:12. Masteran's final push down the stretch was just held off by race winner Langston Gash from Stevenson, who was less than a second and a half ahead of the Salisbury senior at the line. Masteran improved his time at the Winter Place Park course by 36 seconds. The run was the fastest time by a Sea Gull on their home course since 2011. Read More

Ray Smith York Men's Cross Country Senior Smith placed third among 222 runners to lead the Spartans to the team championship at the Lock Haven Open on Saturday afternoon. Smith cloked in with a time of 25.48.1, just four seconds out of a runner-up finish. The third-place finish is the best of Smith's Spartan career. Smith and the Spartans defeated a number of Division II foes en route to the team title including Lock Haven, West Chester, Bloomsburg, Slippery Rock, and Mansfield.  Read More

Robert Romano Frostburg State Men's Cross Country Senior Romano helped Frostburg State to the team title of the Westmoreland CCC Wolfpack Invitational. Romano won the 5k race for the third time in his career after he crossed the finish line in 16:31.7. He finished over 30 seconds ahead of the second-place runner. Read More
