Christian March Frostburg State Men's Swimming Junior Frostburg State junior Christian March was tabbed as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the third time this season after breaking a meet record, a school record, securing two NCAA "B" cut times and a pair of first-place finishes at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. Both of March's winning times rank among the top five in Division III so far this year. He finished first and set a meet record in the 200 breaststroke with an NCAA "B" cut time of 2:03.48, which ranks fourth in the nation. He also touched first in the 100 breaststroke with another NCAA "B" cut at 56.37, which ranks fifth in the nation. March broke the school record and finished third in the 50 freestyle at 21.19, the 15th-best time nationally. He also posted strong showings in the 100 freestyle (47.31; 34th nationally) and 200 IM (1:58.32; 48th nationally). Read More

Peter Moyer Salisbury Men's Swimming Sophomore Salisbury sophomore Peter Moyer was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after recording four first-place finishes in a 1-1 week for the Sea Gulls. In a close 110-95 loss to Washington College, Moyer took first in the 200 freestyle (1:58.98) and 400 freestyle (4:16.13). In a victory over Penn State Altoona, Moyer touched first in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.28) and 800 freestyle (9:08.75). Read More

Christian March Frostburg State Men's Swimming Junior Frostburg State junior Christian March was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second time this year after collecting three first-place finishes and breaking a pool record last Saturday in a CAC dual meet against Salisbury. March won the 50-meter freestyle (24.90), 100-meter freestyle (55.35), and 100-meter breaststroke (1:06.92). His time in the 100-meter breaststroke set a new Salisbury pool record, and the converted time (1:00.62) ranks first in the CAC and 69th nationally. Read More

Jesse Tate York Men's Swimming Freshman York freshman Jesse Tate was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after breaking two records in the Spartans' CAC victory over Salisbury on Saturday. Tate earned a pair of individual wins with his record-breaking performances, setting a school record in the 100 butterfly (52.62) and breaking the pool record in the 200 IM (1:58.98). He was also a part of the winning 400 medley relay in 3:38.59, and placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:47.51). Tate's times in the 200 IM (27th) and 100 butterfly (30th) rank in the top-30 nationally. Read More

Christian March Frostburg State Men's Swimming Junior Frostburg State junior Christian March was selected as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after helping the Bobcats to a 4-1 start to the season with five individual victories in two meets. In a tri-meet with Hampden-Sydney and Barton, March won the 50-meter breaststroke (30.85), 100-meter breaststroke (1:08.08), and the 100-meter IM (1:02.87). In a quad-meet with Goucher, Stevenson, and Hood, March finished first in the 100-yard butterfly (56.47) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.86). He also placed second in the 200-yard IM (2:07.01). His 100 breaststroke time currently ranks 33rd nationally. Read More
