Top-Ranked Salisbury Is #1 Seed For 2008 CAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament
Top-ranked Salisbury (14-0, 7-0) is the number one seed, and Wesley won the three-team coin flip for the fourth seed, entering the 2008 CAC Men's Lacrosse playoffs, which begin with four games Monday (4/14).
The Sea Gulls clinched top seed in the tournament with Friday's victory over St. Mary's (7-6, 5-2) and will host eighth-seeded Hood (0-15, 0-7) in Monday's first round.
Villa Julie (10-3, 6-1) finished second in the regular season and wil host seventh-seeded Marymount (6-8, 1-6) in a first-round playoff game Monday.
Mary Washington (6-6, 3-4) downed Marymount Saturday to close out the regular season, creating a three-way tied for fourth place -- UMW, Wesley (8-5, 3-4) and York (8-6, 3-4).
The conference tiebreaking proceedure finished with Wesley as the fourth seed, and the Wolverines will host fifth-seeded York in a first-round contest. UMW will be the No. 6 seed and visit St. Mary's in Monday's other first-round action.

Game 4: #5 York at #4 Wesley, 4 p.m.
