Stevenson Junior Jeff Bihy Selected As CAC Baseball Player Of The Week
Stevenson junior P/OF JEFF BIHY (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Tech) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week after hitting .706 in five games last week, helping the Mustangs to a 4-1 record, including two CAC victories. Bihy was 12-for-17 with seven doubles, six RBI and four runs scored. He had a 1.118 slugging percentage, a .737 on-base percentage and at least two hits in all five games. After helping Stevenson sweep CAC rival St. Marys Saturday, Bihy went 6-for-8 with three doubles and four RBI in Sundays sweep vs. Catholic.

Gallaudet University baseball coach Curtis Pride took some time out before the start of the 2010 season to sit down and discuss the upcoming season, which will be the last for the Bison in the Capital Athletic Conference. GU will join the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) next season. Pride, now in his second season, is excited about the direction the Bison are heading in.
