It is a profession that is much more than just knowledge and teaching. It’s about the your connection with the students and your desire to find each student’s maximum potential.

The most memorable experience during my collegiate career has been meeting 13 of my best friends. It is an honor to be able to play the sport I love alongside my amazing teammates. Having such a close-knit team has made this experience better than I could have ever imagined. Good days or bad days, win or lose, we still have each other and that is a bond that will carry through a lifetime.

The most influential person in my life while growing up has been my best friend, Ali Posey. I think a simple yet important piece of advice would be to always be a good friend. Build others up, encourage others, have a good attitude, and be honest. If you treat others with these attributes, you will find people that are going to do the same for you. That is when you will truly be happy.

Name three (3) people, real or fictional, living or dead, that you'd like to have dinner with?
Jesus- To be able to simply talk about life with him and to ask him for advice.
Kenny Chesney- He has been my favorite music artist since I was 7! The lyrics to his songs are so meaningful to me and have been for as long back as I can remember. When I think of the music I grew up on, he is the first person to come to mind. I would love to get to know him as a person through dinner.
Steph Curry- I would love to talk with him about his life as a professional basketball player and what his work ethic looks like. Also, I would ask for any advice he has for a college athlete.
